Community Guidelines
Effective: 16 July 2026
Why do we need Community Guidelines?
These Community Guidelines exist to help keep our games fair, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. They set out the basic standards we expect from all players and explain the kinds of behaviour that do not belong here. By following them, you help protect the games, the community, and your own account.
We periodically review and update these Guidelines, so please check them regularly.
What are the Principles?
- Treat Others with Respect
Engage with other players in good faith. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or targeted abuse, whether in-game or related to the community, is not acceptable.
We do not tolerate this conduct, whether directed at individuals or groups, and it applies in any format, including text, imagery, voice, or UGC.
- Do Not Put People at Risk
Create and share content that is appropriate for the game and its spaces. We do not tolerate behaviour that causes real-world harm or distress. This includes explicit sexual material, graphic violence or gore, extreme profanity, exploitation, grooming, threats, encouraging self-harm or violence, or promoting extremist or criminal activity.
- Fair Play Matters
Cheating, scamming, trolling, exploiting systems, spamming, or manipulating in-game economies undermines trust and the experience for everyone.
Players must not engage in illegal activity, gambling mechanics, unauthorised transactions, or attempts to exploit or bypass our systems. This includes the misuse of virtual items, automated accounts, bots, or off-platform trading.
- Respect IP and Privacy
Do not share your own or others' sensitive personal information, impersonate others, misuse game systems, or push players off-platform in deceptive or unsafe ways.
You must respect the rights of others and the intellectual property rights belonging to BARB or anyone else. Only use content you have permission to use.
For how we protect and process personal data, see our Privacy Notice.
- Act in the Spirit of the Game
Not everything harmful can be listed in these Guidelines. If something damages the community, the platform, or other players' enjoyment, do not do it - even if it is technically possible.
Moderation, Reporting, Enforcement and Appeals
Violations of these Guidelines or our Terms of Use may result in content removal, restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans. We have full discretion to decide what action to take, if any.
These Guidelines do not replace or override the Terms of Use, which govern all moderation, reporting, enforcement, appeals, and legal obligations for all players.
If you encounter activity that you think violates these Guidelines, please report it to: support [at] buildarocketboy.com or use the contact information in our Terms of Use.
